Provzo

About

Built for the person whose tap is leaking right now.

Provzo is a marketplace that helps households find independent local service providers, in their own language, and pay them in cash when the work is done.

What it is

A booking app for 131 everyday services — an electrician, a plumber, a deep clean, a bike service — across 14 categories. Customers request, providers accept, and team members are who actually turn up when a provider sends one.

What it is not

Provzo is not the provider of the underlying service, does not employ the providers, and does not handle your money. Those are not disclaimers added at the end; they decide how the whole app is built.

How it is built

  • Rules over promises: what each side may do is enforced in database security rules, not just hidden in the interface.
  • Unknown facts stay unknown. A merchant detail that has not been verified is shown as not yet published, never as a plausible-looking placeholder.
  • No invented numbers. Ratings come from completed bookings; there are no seeded reviews, no fake counts and no sample providers.
  • Accessibility on purpose: large tap targets, reduced-motion support, and layouts checked at small screens with large text.
