Rules for using the Provzo marketplace
Revision 2026-08-19.3 · effective 19 August 2026 · 9 sections
1. About Provzo
Provzo is a marketplace that helps customers request local services from independent service providers. Provzo is not the provider of the underlying repair, maintenance or household service. A booking creates a request; it is confirmed only when a provider accepts it.
2. Account eligibility and accuracy
You must be legally capable of entering a contract and provide accurate account, address and booking information. Keep access to your verified mobile number secure. Do not misuse another person’s identity, address or invitation code.
3. Booking and service scope
The app shows the category, provider and price recorded for a request. Describe the issue accurately and confirm the scope directly with the provider before work starts. Additional work or materials require your separate agreement with the provider.
4. Payment
Pay the provider in cash directly after completed work. That is the method the booking flow presents today.
Provzo’s payment processor for digital payment is Razorpay, operated by Razorpay Software Private Limited. Merchant onboarding is complete and the in-app payment step is being brought up; until it appears in a released build, no online payment can be collected and this policy does not represent otherwise. When it does appear, the methods offered will be UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking, wallets, EMI and pay-later options.
Provzo never asks for money by transfer, link or code outside the app. Never treat an unavailable in-app payment option as a request to send money elsewhere.
5. Cancellations
A customer may cancel in the app while a request is pending or after it is accepted, but not after the provider marks that they are on the way. The current app does not calculate cancellation or no-show fees. See the Cancellation and refunds policy for the exact current flow.
6. Safe and lawful use
Do not use Provzo for unlawful, dangerous, abusive or deceptive activity. Do not ask a provider to perform work outside their stated category or without legally required qualifications. In an emergency, contact local emergency services rather than using the marketplace or assistant.
7. Reviews and records
A customer may submit one rating after a booking is completed. Reviews must reflect genuine experience and must not expose sensitive personal information. Booking records may be retained where needed for safety, support, dispute handling and legal obligations.
8. Availability and responsibility
Provider availability, acceptance and service results are not guaranteed. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
9. Changes and contact
Material policy changes use a new legal revision and may require renewed affirmation. Current operator and contact disclosures are in Business information. Do not rely on an unverified contact shown outside that page.
