Refunds and cancellations
Back to where it came from.
A refund returns to the instrument that paid — the same card, UPI handle, account or wallet. Never as cash, never to a different instrument, never to a third party.

Grounds for a refund
When money comes back.
Refundable
- The provider cancelled the booking

- The recorded work was not performed
- You were charged more than the amount recorded on the booking
- You were charged twice for one booking
Not refundable through Provzo
- Cash handed directly to a provider — it never passed through Provzo
- Work completed as recorded, where the disagreement is about taste
- Additional work you agreed with the provider directly
- A refund requested to a different instrument or as cash
Timeline
Decision in 3 working days. Money in 5 to 7 working days.
You raise it with support
Bring the booking reference and, for a digital payment, the payment reference from the Razorpay confirmation. Those two references are what a charge is traced with.
A decision within 3 working days
Support reviews the booking record and tells you the outcome. If it is approved, Provzo instructs Razorpay the same working day.
Money arrives in 5 to 7 working days
The gateway and your bank or card issuer each add settlement time that Provzo does not control. The clock starts when the refund is approved, not when you ask.
If it has not arrived
Contact support with both references. A refund that was instructed can be traced at the gateway.
