Provider standards
What customers and providers can expect
Revision 2026-08-19.3 · effective 19 August 2026 · 5 sections
Application and approval
Providers submit identity, service category and service-area information. Only profiles whose status is Approved are listed to customers. Approval does not guarantee availability, a particular outcome or every licence that a specialized task may legally require.
Professional conduct
Providers must communicate honestly, attend only accepted jobs, respect the customer and property, protect personal data, follow safety practices and perform only work they are competent and legally permitted to perform.
Pricing and collection
Providers must explain scope and price before starting. Payment today is cash from customer to provider after completed work.
A provider must never claim that Provzo requires a transfer to a personal account, a UPI handle, a payment link or a QR code. Once digital payment through Razorpay is live, diverting a customer off the recorded payment route — or asking for cash on a booking already paid online — is grounds for removal from the marketplace.
Status and identity
Providers must keep booking status accurate. Contact details become visible to the customer after acceptance. A provider may assign a named technician before work begins; the person attending must match the disclosed assignment.
Safety and complaints
Unsafe, abusive, fraudulent or discriminatory conduct is prohibited. Customers should stop work they reasonably consider unsafe and preserve booking details when reporting a concern through verified support.
